About Kirsten Slowinske

Ms. Slowinske is a Teacher of Diverse Learners at Marquez, working with 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade students in English/Language Arts, science, and social studies. She joined Acero in 2016 after graduating from Illinois State University in 2013 and has worked in several roles at Marquez. Outside of school, she enjoys geocaching, trying new food spots around Chicago, walking her rescue dog, Ruthie, along the lakefront, and spending time in nature.
